Rocket Science

YES, it's finally over! What am I talking about? Well finally, yes, finally, prayers, perseverance, and everything has paid off. Our old house in LA finally today, closed escrow. It's finally off of our hands. It's finally somebody else's problem.

It didn't go quietly though. There were more than a fair share of problems with the sale of the house, due in large part to some of the parties involved (that I will not grace by mentioning here in this blog). The most important piece of news though, despite everything is that the house sold, and we now, finally, nearly 5 months later, can officially begin our lives in Rancho Cucamonga.

Oh, did I mention that I defended my Ph.D.? :) On July 20th, 2007, no less. I'm currently working through some issues in the thesis that the committee came up with, but suffice to say, I should be a full fledged Dr. by the end of August.
